Walid Shihabi is the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Keyper, where he leads the build-out of scalable, data-driven solutions to digitize the region’s real estate ecosystem.

He brings over a decade of experience across investment banking and equity research, having previously led the largest equity research team in the region as Head of Equity Research at SHUAA Capital. Walid has been involved in landmark regional transactions, including the acquisition and delisting of Aramex from NASDAQ and the IPO of DP World, and played a key role in launching Dubai’s first freehold property fund.

Prior to Keyper, he served as Chief Commercial and Chief Strategy Officer at Urban, a company digitizing rent payments, and currently sits on the board of the Dubai PropTech Business Group, sponsored by the Dubai Land Department. At Keyper, he applies this institutional and operational expertise to building the digital payments and data infrastructure underpinning the next generation of residential PropTech in the UAE.
