Vadim Fedotov began his career as a promising basketball player for the German National Team before moving to the US to play for the Buffalo Bulls. After injuries ended his athletic career, he transitioned into the corporate world and later became the youngest regional CEO of Groupon Inc., leading over 1,500 employees across 42 offices.
By 30, despite a clean medical check-up, he felt far from his peak. Determined to improve his health, he founded Bioniq in 2019 to address micronutrient deficiencies. In 2021, he relocated most of the team to Dubai, brought Cristiano Ronaldo and Diogo Dalot on as investors, and expanded Bioniq to 13 countries.
