Shahd Abdelhadi is the Co-founder of Women Who Invest, a grassroots UAE-based community dedicated to creating safe spaces for women to learn about personal finance. She also serves as Head of Growth at Takadao, a Muslim-led Web3 startup building Shariah-compliant mutual protection communities.
Shahdhas featured on panels such as the International Women’s Day Forum, hosted by Women Leaders of the World in partnership with the Chinese Women’s Federation. She has also represented Takadao at major industry events, including GITEX’s Fintech Surge and the Islamic Fintech Forum. Additionally, Shahd has been invited to speak at universities including the University of Wollongong and her alma mater, the American University of Sharjah.
Prior to joining Takadao, Shahd worked at Mastercard, where she led strategic partnerships and helped establish the EEMEA Fintech Team. Throughout her career, she has championed financial literacy through initiatives such as Mastercard’s Girls4Tech Program and the Injaz Financial Literacy Program, personally coaching more than 1,000 students in STEM and finance.
