Premchand Kurup is the Chief Executive Officer at Paramount Computer Systems FZ-LLC, a position he has held since March 2002. With over 23 years of leadership experience, Kurup has spearheaded the company’s operations across the Middle East, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kenya.

A visionary in cybersecurity, Kurup has been instrumental in positioning Paramount as an industry leader throughout the region. His strong focus on cybersecurity has contributed to the establishment of a robust sector in the UAE as well as cemented his reputation as a forward-thinking innovator.

After 18 years of working for other organisations, Kurup embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2000. Since then, he has co-founded three companies – Paramount, Barcode Gulf and Headstart FZ LLC. His focus on niche technologies, strategic management, and people-centred leadership, as well as a great conviction in people and talents, has led to the unparalleled success of his ventures.

Kurup holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from the College of Engineering, Guindy, graduating with Honors and ranking fourth at the university level. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for his success in technology and entrepreneurship.

His commitment to nurturing talents and fostering entrepreneurial growth has led to the creation of over 20 entrepreneurs, generating employment for more than 250 individuals.
