Fatima Alkaabi is an Emirati inventor and creative technologist with 12 innovations, including a smart steering system to prevent texting while driving and the Teleporter, a robot enabling sick children to attend school. She is the co-founder of AI Emirati, an initiative using artificial intelligence to preserve Emirati identity and ensure proper Arab representation in technology.
Passionate about empowering others, Fatima has inspired thousands of students through STEM workshops, mentoring, and speaking engagements locally and internationally. Her trailblazing journey has been recognized with the Abu Dhabi Award (2018), the nation’s highest civilian honor, the UAE Pioneers Medal (2015)—awarded the title of Youngest Inventor by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—and the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Arab Youth Award (2017). On the global stage, she was named Outstanding Youth Delegate at the AFS Youth Assembly 2019 in New York, underscoring her leadership in innovation and youth advocacy worldwide.
