Eyad Al Kassar

Eyad grew up in Germany, where he earned a Ph.D. Summa Cum Laude in Computer Science from Saarland University. During his studies he was a fellow of the German National Academic Foundation which is granted to the best 0.1% of Germany’s students. Eyad is one of the most accomplished entrepreneurs of the Middle East, he founded and ran some of MENAs largest tech companies which raised hundreds of millions of dollars in funding, employing tens of thousands of employees and fulfilling daily millions of orders.

*Snapp Group. MENAs largest tech company. It employs 10,000 people and 5 million
freelancers and transacts 7 million orders / daily. Snapp is one of the largest Superapps globally (Ridehailing, food delivery, grocery delivery, flight tickets, hotels, lending, and many more). Its subsidiary Snapp Cab is the 4th largest ride hailing company globally.
*Rocket Internet MENA / Namshi. Eyad founded and ran Rocket Internet in MENA. Under his tenure Rocket acquired among others Talabat and Hungerstation (IPOed as Deliveryhero which became a DAX company) and he co-founded the #1 fashion retailer of the region Namshi.com (which was sold to UAE's Emaar).
*Qlub: Global payment company Qlub which operates in 7 countries, from Australia, to
Singapore, UAE, KSA to India and Brazil. Qlub raised the largest seed globally in 2022 and the largest seed investment ever in MENA from some of the top global investors. Eyad is co-
founder and co-CEO of Qlub.
*Baly. Baly is the super app of Iraq, it raised Iraq's largest tech investment and is now the
largest tech company in the country. Eyad is co-founder and Chairman of Baly
