Aleksandr Kuzmichev leads Business Planning and Operations for Visa in the GCC region, overseeing business strategy development, sales operations, key projects such as Cross-Border Acceleration, and management of the corporate investment fund. He also heads the GCC deals team and manages regional events.

Prior to Visa, Aleksandr spent over 12 years in banking with institutions including HSBC and Citibank in Russia, where he led FP&A for retail banking and scaled wealth management propositions within the Retail Segment business.

His core expertise includes strategic planning, financial modeling, segment management, and process optimization. In addition, Aleksandr actively mentors social impact startups globally through programs such as Impact Hub and Bridge for Billions.
