The idea for Co Chocolat’s edible cacao tree took root in the most personal of places at home. When sisters Iman and Luchie Suguitan couldn’t find chocolate that was both indulgent and safe for their diabetic mother, they set out on a journey that would change everything. Their search led them deep into the cacao farms of Mindanao, where they learned firsthand how a single tree could nourish not just the body, but entire communities.
