Saeed Alnofeli has been actively engaged in the innovation and entrepreneurial scene in the UAE for the past 10 years. As the Venture Creation Manager at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center – Sheraa, a government entity with a mandate to transform Sharjah into a world-class startup hub, Saeed manages the Ideation and Pre-seed programs at Sheraa, which support startups as they take their innovative tech businesses from idea to prototype to market.
Saeed’s experience in the technology sector involves mega projects focused on commercial and military technologies. He has capitalized on his unique skillset, industry expertise, and network to become co-founder and CEO of the multi-award-winning tech startup Jamalytic, more famously known as the “Fitbit for camels.” Jamalytic – a hardware and software solution that manages the collection, analysis and interpretation of a race camel’s data to facilitate peak performance and enhance stamina – is revolutionizing the billion-dollar traditional camel-racing industry of the Arabian Gulf.
Saeed holds a Master’s in Engineering Systems and Management, with a concentration in Technology Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Security and Network Technologies from Zayed University.
