Under the visionary leadership of CEO Najla Al Midfa, Sheraa has developed a journey that offers entrepreneurs a touchpoint at every stage of the startup lifecycle, providing the support necessary to turn ideas into reality, and creating a solid foundation on which sustainable businesses and thriving careers can be built.
Sheraa places founders at the core of its DNA, with offerings that support them at all stages of their development: our youth programs and competitions allow us to develop a pipeline of highly skilled talent, ready to join the workforce of the future or pursue their own ventures; our incubation programs help entrepreneurs navigate the startup journey from market validation to market expansion. Our events, culminating with Sheraa’s annual convener, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF), bring the business community together to forge purposeful connections and spark important conversations.
SEF was launched in 2017 and has become the UAE’s largest annual 2-day gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers. SEF provides a platform for founders to build authentic connections and encourages the youth to envision themselves as the future leaders of impactful change.
