Dr. Shayma Fawaz, founder and CEO, GOSSIP The Brand
Visionary Emirati entrepreneur and founder Dr. Shayma Fawwaz launched the progressive and forward-thinking GOSSIP The Brand in 2013 with the intent to establish a multi-concept company delivering an array of new tastes, innovative services and groundbreaking style with Emirati influences to the region. She has recently taken the brand global, being the first Emirati brand to expand out of the emirates, with the opening of her Mlkcake by GOSSIP eatery in Covent Garden, London. Her diverse background and extensive experience consists of a Bachelor of Science in Micro Biology with a Business Administration Minor and PhD in Genetics from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C., working at the Children National Medical Center, also in Washington, D.C. which is rated as one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the United States. She also holds an EMBA from the London Business School, London, UK.
